Dr. Bridgette L. Riley, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Riley is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a background in trauma and psychiatric care and is a decorated Commander in the United States Navy. Her scope of practice includes evaluation, diagnosis and management of behavioral health disorders such as ADHD, depression and anxiety as well as mood disorders and other concerns.  

Commander Riley completed her BSN at SUNY Downstate, her Nurse Practitioner MSN and Mental Health credentials at Hunter College in New York and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Grand Canyon University.

During her service in the U.S. Navy, Ms. Riley spent 9 months in Afghanistan to support Operation Enduring Freedom where she worked as a key Trauma Team member. She also spent a year in Germany at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center to triage incoming wounded service members and coordinate care for return to service or the U.S.

Since returning from active duty, CDR Riley has worked at the Institute of Family Health Services in Manhattan as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner managing patients with all types of mental health issues, including substance abuse.  Dr. Riley has also worked at WestMed Medical Group throughout Westchester and Fairfield Counties as a Family Nurse Practitioner managing patients in an urgent care setting.

CDR Riley is a member of the American Psychiatric Nursing Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Emergency Nurses Association.  She is certified in Pediatric Life Support, Advance Burn Life Support, Advance Cardiovascular Life Support and Trauma.
